Volunteering

If you are interested in volunteering to work on a Trails BC project, please contact the Trails BC Regional Director for Vancouver Island.

We will be providing more specific information describing:

• Projects that require volunteers.
• The skills being sought.
• How to volunteer.

Submitting Information

Before submitting any information, you should contact the Trails BC Regional Director for Vancouver Island to discuss the subject and its suitability for the web site.

We prefer to receive all information by email. The following guidelines are provided.

• Basic Requirements
• Please ensure that you include your name, subject, date, address and phone number if you are not submitting the material by email, and if you are not the author please include the source and consent of the original author.
• News and Announcements
• We prefer to have this sent as text in an email, or attached to the email as a Microsoft Word document, or attached as a scanned image. We may be able to accept documents produced with other word processing programs.

Photographs

• These can be prints but we prefer images attached to an email message. Be sure to include a description, location and date for each picture.
• If you have a digital camera, use the maximum resolution when taking the picture and low jpeg compression.
• If scanned, set the resolution to 150 dpi and scan at 100% original size.
