The Trans Canada Trail in southern British Columbia runs from Vancouver Island to the Rockies, weaving more than 1,750 kilometres through seven mountain ranges. In northern B.C., the Trans Canada Trail follows the Alaska Highway for 1,050 kilometres from Watson Lake, Yukon, to the B.C-Alberta border.
