Trestle & Trail Building Fund

Thermometer.gif - 6223 Bytes
$47,668.61 received to 2004-08-31.

Trails BC is working with private and public partners to establish a Trestle & Trail Building Fund.
Trails BC can accept "cash" donations and issue tax-deductible receipts. The fund will go toward rebuilding the Myra Canyon Trestles as well as the peripheral Trans Canada Trail infrastructure such as repairing route damage, replacing trail marker signs and installing route maps.

Note: By "cash", we mean negotiable currency in the form of cheque, money-order or credit card, not donations "in kind" such as building materials or labour. These will obviously be required when the building and re-building gets underway, but must be dealt with separately with respect to tax-deductible receipts.

To satisfy our banker and greatly reduce the risk of credit card fraud, we can only accept signed credit card donations and membership applications. Please use the forms below and please fill out as much detail as possible. Please make cheques payable to Trails BC.

A very special "Thank You" to the management and staff of Mountain Equipment Co-op's Vancouver store. With their assistance in accepting donations at the cash register and hosting our in-store displays, we were able to raise a total of 1,907.59 for the Trails BC Trestle & Trail Building Fund.
The MEC in-store program has now been closed, however Trails BC continues to accept donations to the T&TBF.
