Trans Canada Trail: British Columbia

Trans Canada Trail: British Columbia

By Bruce Obee

The Trans Canada Trail in southern British Columbia runs from Vancouver Island to the Rockies, weaving more than 1,750 kilometres through seven mountain ranges. In northern B.C., the Trans Canada Trail follows the Alaska Highway for 1,050 kilometres from Watson Lake, Yukon, to the B.C-Alberta border.

Trans Canada Trail: British Columbia is a trail and outdoor guide for all Canadians. Regardless of athletic ability, the Trans Canada Trail holds something for everyone, whether it's a day hike through one of the many entry points to the trail, or a month-long journey covering all terrain. Access one of the country's more stunning trails through:

  • Detailed maps
  • Colour photographs
  • Services

From the Pacific coast to Alberta, Trans-Canada Trail: British Columbia covers your tracks-and guides you through an exhilarating, distinctly Canadian journey.
