Donations to Build Trail

How do I donate money to the Trans Canada Trail? What does it buy/where does the money go?

You can donate to the Trans Canada Trail Foundation directly (www.tctrail.ca) to help build the trail. Their office is located in Montreal and they manage all donations on a national level.

Alternatively, you can certainly donate directly to trail projects in British Columbia by making a donation to Trails BC. We are a non-government, not-for-profit registered society under the BC Society Act. Trails BC is also a Federally-registered charity and can issue tax-deductible receipts for all donations. Your donations are used for the development and advocacy of the Trans Canada Trail and related trails in British Columbia.

We accept donation payments by mailed cheques and online through PayPal. You do not need to have an account with PayPal to make a one-time donation, and all major credit cards are accepted. We will issue a tax-deductible receipt for amounts over $10.
